In the unlikely event the business is unable to resolve your complaint having exhausted the business complaints procedure, it may be necessary to use another complaint service. Where the business cannot resolve the complaint to your satisfaction and/or agree to the final resolution requests confirmed to us, and both parties agree a ‘deadlock’ has been reached, you can then escalate your complaint.
The business has access to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service for our domestic installation, service, repair and maintenance contracts as part of the Which? Trusted Traders Endorsement. If you choose to, you can refer your complaint to Which? Trusted Traders’ Alternative Dispute Resolution.
You will need to contact Which? Trusted Traders on 02922 670 040 who can explain if you are eligible to use their Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Separately from the above, Worsdale Electrical Contractors is registered with NAPIT, membership number 67727. Where a complaint is about technical competence, you can raise it with them, and you do not need our permission to do so.
NAPIT ask that you contact the member in writing first and allow 14 days for a response before reporting it to them.
Worth knowing before going down that road: NAPIT do not pay compensation, do not fund putting work right, and do not rule on contractual or financial disagreements. For those, the Which? ADR service above, the Citizens Advice consumer service or Trading Standards are the right routes.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, work has to be carried out with reasonable care and skill. That is the law and it stands whatever any policy says.
Every job here is certified, and the certificate is handed over on completion. If you cannot find your paperwork, ask and it can be sent again.
